Christmas Is Coming.............hope I won't be the goose that gets too fat!

I've finally put my decorations up!
I didn't know if I'd be up to it
as I'm not feeling very well.
I think the cold weather and all the sick cover I've done lately at the schools, has finally caught up with me!
So,  it was a slow process,  but it's all done now!
I've not gone too over the top.......or have I?

My tiny tree.....I really wanted a real tree this year.
However,  my purse has snapped firmly shut!
I made this little snowman when I was a wee girl.
The tree was a gift last year from a friend.............loving having it out for this Christmas!

My good friend Dotty gave me these Christmas Kitties......they are so cute!

My" new to me" cushion came!
Bought it of Ebay..........and it was a lot lot lot less than I would have paid had I purchased it new from CK.

I just adore the Radio Times cover this year....so delightfully festive!
Hope you are all enjoying putting up your Christmas trimmings.

I'm going to pop a few pills.......legally!
In the hope that I'll feel much better soon!
The Wizard of Oz is on TCM........perfect!

Love Mel

Your home looks very festive. Im under pressure at No.23 to get the tree down from the loft. In fairness it is 12 days before Christmas so I think I will pop upstairs and get it out. Hope you shift the cold before Christmas.

Looking lovely Mel, hoping you feel better very soon, not much fun being ill this close to Christmas, or at any time really.

Still got to put our decorations up.

You decorations are lovely - love the Christmas tree candle.
I know exactly how you feel I have cough, sore throat and a permanent runny nose, all since a week last Sunday and no sign of it disappearing yet!

Hi Mel, I love your blog and your Christmas decor (and home's decor). Also, I love your Cath Kidston goodies. I'm with you, shopping at charity shops is so fun and you get such neat stuff there. Thank you for your kind words about our dear Kona-boy.

Not over the top at all, they look lovely, the kitten bunting is very cute.I wanted a real tree this year, and got a shock at the price of them in Homebase...even for a wee one,but our local farm shop came up trumps with a lovely 3ft Nordman fir.Now I just have to remember to water it!
Hope you feel better soon. :0)

I'm still looking at the boxes of decorations and thinking where I'll put them this year...not much point really cos they always go in the same places every year otherwise everyone complains!

Your home looks lovely- I especially like the cats!
